Science-Driven. Patient-Focused. Built for Impact.
We are a team of scientists, inventors, and drug developers united by a single purpose: to change the trajectory of neurological disease.
Our Story
Baja Bio was founded with a conviction that the tools of modern RNA science and computational biology, combined with rigorous translational medicine, could finally unlock treatments for neurological diseases that have resisted decades of effort.
Based in La Jolla, California, we sit at the intersection of world-class academic neuroscience and a thriving biotech ecosystem. Our founder has spent his career at the platform layer of RNA therapeutics, and Baja Bio is the vehicle to turn that knowledge into medicines and medical devices that reach patients.
We take a mechanism-first approach, starting with deep biological insight before designing therapeutics. Every program we advance is grounded in human genetics, validated targets, and a clear path to the clinic.
Our Values
Scientific Rigor
We hold ourselves to the highest standards of evidence. Every decision is grounded in data.
Patient Centricity
Patients with neurological disease and their families are the reason we come to work. Their urgency is ours.
Collaborative Spirit
We partner openly with academia, industry, and clinicians to accelerate discovery.
Translational Focus
We bridge the gap between bench science and clinical impact with disciplined translational medicine.
